If you like the treats from Grassmarket bakery Lovecrumbs, then you should definitely should check out their latest venture on Brunswick Street - Twelve Triangles. While Lovecrumbs is very much about the cake, this newest addition has a wider offering of pastries, donuts and savouries.

They've only been open for a couple of months, but their donuts have already made a splash with their Ricotta Donut making the Buzzfeed "18 British Donuts to eat before you die" list!

They don't have a website yet, but you can gaze at their glorious goodies on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.

No.8 has a relaxed vibe, with live music on most nights and laid back surroundings that perfectly combine the clean cut and modern building with shabby chic furniture.

There's a selection of intriguing cocktails on the menu, along with an extensive wine list. However, if you want to try something a little unusual, why not give Wolf + Water's signature slushies a try? They come in four flavours and offer something a bit different than your usual cocktail selection. Have a look at their new website to see everything on offer.

54 George IV Bridge, EH1 1EJ

After 21 years, Bar Kohl closed its doors for the last time earlier this year. Many burger and vodka fans were devastated at the news, but fear not, as the same team has opened up at the same space with a only a different focus at Slighhouse.

The whole establishment is a homage to James Hutton, the father of geology who did a lot of his pioneering work in Edinburgh. The focus has changed from burgers to social eating, and from vodka to a wide range of cocktails that offer a new twist on the new classics. The decor has been given an update too, with a lighter and airier space.

Take a look at their website to see the revamp for yourself!
