This Burns Night, celebrate the birth of Scotland’s Bard in the company of his greatest inspiration, Robert Fergusson, at the Real Mary King's Close. It is said that without Fergusson there would be no Burns. Born on Cap and Feather Close in 1740, Fergusson knows all about life on Edinburgh’s claustrophobic closes.

On this exclusive evening tour, guests will go back in time and beneath the Royal Mile where they will hear the stories of the people who lived, worked and died on these now underground streets, with a tale or two from Fergusson’s notorious past...

To round-off this special Burns Night Tour, guests will raise a toast to the great poet himself and enjoy a “wee dram” of whisky in the truly unique and atmospheric setting of The Real Mary King’s Close.
