The Edinburgh International Film Festival 2018

Intimate in its scale, ambitious in its scope, and fuelled by pure passion for cinema in all its manifestations, Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF) seeks to spotlight the most exciting, innovative new film talent and promote the very best in international film. 

Running from 20 June to 1 July, the festival will once again showcase some of the very best in British, American, European and World cinema as well as providing a plaform for up and coming film-makers from around world.

Established in 1947 which makes this a true must-do in the city for a fan of cutting edge cinema.

What's On at EIFF 2018

This year the Festival will screen around 121 new features, including 21 world premieres, from 48 countries across the globe.

Highlights include the long-anticipated Disney-Pixar animation Incredibles 2, Q&A and IN PERSON events with guests including the award-winning English writer and director David Hare, the much-loved Welsh comedian Rob Brydon and star of the compelling Gothic drama The Secret of Marrowbone, actor George MacKay, as well as the Opening and Closing Gala premieres of Puzzle and Swimming with Men.
