The Edinburgh Kiltwalk

The iconic Kiltwalk takes a beautiful route via Victoria Park, Portobello Esplanade and Holyrood Park. Thousands are expected to take to the streets of Edinburgh and raise money for Scotland's children's charities, causes and schools.

Kilt Walk Edinburgh Participants 736

There are three distances to choose from in the Edinburgh Kiltwalk for all ages and abilities. The Wee Wander sets off from Gypsy Brae and covers a little over 5 miles, or for a bigger challenge have a go at the Big Stroll at 13 miles.

Or are you brave enough to take on the Mighty Stride? At 26 miles, you'll snake around the city's streets, passing through Gypsy Brae, Granton Harbour and Victoria Park, crossing the cobbles of Leith to then walk Portobello's lovely promenade. Head back inland for Arthur's Seat and a glance at The Palace of Holyroodhouse before hitting the home stretch to enjoy the final celebrations.
