Cheer on the Edinburgh Capitals in the Elite Ice Hockey League
12 November 2014
There is no faster, more dynamic and more colourful family spectator sport than Ice Hockey.
Edinburgh Capitals participate in the Elite Ice Hockey League UK (EIHL), the premier ice hockey league in the UK.
The club is a member of the Gardner Conference which includes teams from Fife, Glasgow, Dundee and Hull and competes against teams from the Ernhardt Conference, Cardiff, Sheffield, Nottingham, Belfast and Coventry.
Home fixtures are played at Murrayfield Ice Arena, an arena that can trace its tradition of hosting ice hockey in the City back to the 1950s.
The Ice Hockey season runs from September to March. Most of the Capitals home games are played on a Sunday evening, at 6.00pm to allow families to attend. It's a fantastic, fun way for all the family to end the weekend.
Here it is...one of the biggest games of the season is fast approaching, the Hogmanay showdown! Come see the Capitals take on the Flyers in this classic derby that never fails to be entertaining! Lets see if the Capitals can repeat their success following the 4-3 victory last year! The game starts earlier than normal at 4pm. The Hogmanay match up is one you won't want to miss, you can pre-order your tickets now online - http://bit.ly/1vwKgGA
