Below you’ll find a list of shops and producers that bring character to the intriguing wynds and cobbled streets of the city. And remember, when you buy local, you’re supporting the local economy and helping to keep Edinburgh unique and diverse.

If the person you’re buying for is a lover of Italian delicacies, then be sure to visit Valvona and Crolla, Scotland's oldest Delicatessen and Italian Wine Merchant.

One of Europe's original Specialist Food Shops, they were founded in 1934 and have an extensive online shop as well as an inviting shop at the top of Leith Walk. You’ll be sure to walk away with a basket full of goodies.
