Edinburgh Restaurant Festival may have drawn to a close, but there are still lots of great places to eat and drink in Edinburgh, with new venues popping up all the time. There has been quite a few new openings in the last few weeks, so let's round up some of the biggest and best Edinburgh eateries out there that you can enjoy a taste of this Autumn.
The Whistle Stop Barber Shop
The newest opening on South Bridge brings a little slice of East Coast USA to Edinburgh. Combining the concept of a New York barber shop with iconic American eats such as philly cheese steak and Cornell BBQ chicken, this is the place to go if you want a taste of the states.
If you want to hang around for a while, you can sup one of their impressive cocktails in the bar that's open until late. Or, if you fancy a tidy up, you can always head down to their pop up barber shop downstairs.

Copper Blossom is the elegant new bar and restaurant on George Street that everyone's talking about. The interiors are unlike anything else in the city, bursting with beautiful blooms at every turn and the most beautiful toilets you have ever seen(!), this is the place to have cocktails with the girls this Autumn.
Be sure to try one of their bottled cocktails, like Remedial Action, which comes in a glass with a beautiful floating flower and a light misting of vanilla spray. It's the perfect after-work treat.

The Printing Press
The very latest restaurant to open on George Street, the beautiful Printing Press has a delicious food and drink offering. Head chef Colin Fleming has worked hard to produce a seasonal menu that will showcase the best of Scottish produce, including Loch Duart salmon which is smoked over oak chips in house and served over tempting horseradish and fennel potato scones. They also have a wide selection of cocktails on offer, including the beautifully refreshing gin bramble.
And if you're craving a caffeine fix, then check out the tempting café Burr & Co, which has also just opened up next door.

Leith Chop House
If you take your meat seriously, then you will love Leith Chop House. They are obsessed with creating the perfect roast and have complete visibility over the whole process - from farm to fork. They have carefully selected their suppliers and age their meat in-house for up to ninety days in a special dry-aging fridge. Their own in-house butcher prepares the cuts before they are cooked on a custom-made open flame grill, making a delicious steak with its own flavour unique to the Chop House.
They also have an unmissible cocktail selection, which you can enjoy in their intimate bar area. Combine that with their ultra-cool decor, and you've got a brand new Leith institution which is set to become a firm favourite.

Stockbridge's newest seafood restaurant aims to be an eaterie with a heart, as the Kilted Lobster serves up tasty cuisine with a generous side helping of social responsibility. 'Cooking Up a Storm' will provide job training to school leavers or those facing barriers to work, free meals to those experiencing financial hardship and cooking classes to those who want to learn to prepare healthy meals on a budget, or cater for food allergies.
