Imagaine A Country 13 Edinburgh Book Festival

Traditionally located in the heart of Edinburgh’s historic New Town at Charlotte Square Gardens, this year’s Edinburgh International Book Festival will see it relocate to the beautiful outdoor spaces of the University of Edinburgh’s Edinburgh College of Art on Lauriston Place, where it will recreate its amazing village atmosphere, whilst also having the facilities to create a world of online events.

In this exciting new chapter for the Book Festival, a wide range of the live-streamed events will also have in-person audiences at the new 2021 Festival home.

Enjoy 250+ events for adults and children online from home, offered on a Pay What You Can basis. You can watch the events live online during the Festival dates (14-30 August) or catch up at a time that suits you. There's also the opportunity to chat with fellow book fans and connect with authors using the online chatroom and live Q&A.

At the Edinburgh International Book Festival, you’ll have the opportunity to take part in provoking debates and intriguing discussions with like-minded book lovers!
