Bright Shadows: Scottish Art in the 1920s is a new exhibition exploring the work of Scottish artists during the 1920s – an evocative period of social, political and economic change.

Bright Shadows Collage

Timed to mark 100 years since the dawn of the 'Roaring Twenties', the Bright Shadows: Scottish Art in the 1920s exhibition will display 35 artworks from the City Art Centres own fine art collection.

Key highlights include the recently loaned Cecile Walton at Crianlarich (1920) a stirking portrait by Eric Roberyson and A Garment of War (c.1926) by D.Y Cameron - recently restored to its original splendour.
