The Dunstane's Burns Night Bash

Dunstane Houses Ba Bar

Friday 25 January 2019

Head to the Stroma Lounge at Hampton House on Friday 25 January 2019 for a Burns Night party that the poet himself would be proud of; including a whisky cocktail on arrival, cullen skink starter and, of course, the traditional recitation of Rabbie Burns’ Address to A Haggis and accompanying toast as the ‘great chieftain o’ the pudding race’ is offered around.

There’ll be neeps; there’ll be tatties; there’ll be cranachan and Scottish cheeses and Oatcakes – there’ll even be live folk music and Highland dancing. (There may also be a slightly sore head the next morning – but don’t worry; it’s what Rabbie would have wanted.)

To mark Robert Burns’ 260th birthday on 25 January 2019, The Printing Press Bar & Kitchen on Edinburgh’s George Street will host a traditional Burns supper with a modern Scottish twist in partnership with Edrington-Beam Suntory.

The celebration is particularly fitting, for the poet is believed to have spent time with the 18th century family who once lived at the George Street townhouse.
