Official Guide to Edinburgh

Crisis Race to End Homelessness

People across Scotland are being encouraged to sign up for Crisis’ Race to End Homelessness, held in partnership with YTL Hotels The Glasshouse, a former church that offered shelter to people experiencing homelessness.

Crisis Run

Crisis’ Race to End Homelessness is the first of its kind in Scotland, offering participants to take on a truly unique route around Edinburgh, all while raising money for charity.

Participants can take on either the 5km or 10km distance, with the scenic route starting in Holyrood Park, before heading to the foot of Arthur’s Seat before passing through the city. The route then goes up Calton Hill before heading back down to the city, ending at the prestigious The Glasshouse, where runners will be able to cool down with amazing views over the city.

Whether you’re a keen walker or runner, or if you simply fancy taking on a new challenge for the New Year, why not sign up. People can either take on the challenge solo or join with friends or colleagues to complete the route, all while knowing that by taking part, they’re helping Crisis towards their aim of ending homelessness altogether.
