This winter, join Edinburgh’s 5-star attraction, National Museum of Scotland for a fascinating exhibition which explores the science behind the long running hit TV series, Doctor Who.

Featuring eight zones filled with immersive, hands-on experiences, this mind-blowing exhibition will appeal to both lovers of the time-travelling sci-fi drama which has been delighting viewers for almost 60 years.

Not only will visitors be able to take a journey through a TARDIS Tech room, discover Sonic Screwdrivers and travel through the Time Vortex Corridor, but venture into the Monster Vault for the opportunity to discover some of the programmes’ bizarre creatures.

The exhibition also takes a look at the popular TV series from a scientific viewpoint. Explore if time travel really is possible and does life exist on other planets?

So, long scarfs at the ready – get ready to ‘Exterminate’ your boredom with this ground-breaking exhibition!

Relaxed Viewings for those who appreciate a calmer visit will be available on 08 January, 05 February, 05 March and 02 April (10:00–12:00) and 18 April (17:30–19:00). During these times noise and videos will be muted and visitor numbers reduced.
