A very tall public art trail comes to Edinburgh this summer!

Edinburgh Zoo Giraffe About Town

In partnership with Wild in Art, the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS) will display a herd of eight-foot-tall giraffe models across Edinburgh to raise much needed funds for wildlife conservation.

Located all the way from Edinburgh Airport to Leith, more than 40 sculptures will form a free trail of discovery for people of all ages to explore and enjoy.

Giraffe About Town Royal Mile

Each sculpture has been designed and decorated by artists and communities to celebrate Edinburgh’s extraordinary heritage and cultural diversity.

At the final weekend of this family- friendly art event, all giraffe sculptures will be displayed together at Edinburgh Zoo before being auctioned to raise vital funds for RZSS to support wildlife conservation projects in Scotland and across the world.
