2020 is the Year of Coasts and Waters - a celebration of Scotland's vast array of lochs, waterways, islands and coastlines. This captivating exhibition explores Scotland’s diverse sea life and the many threats facing our marine life.

The National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh has travelled to new depths with this fascinating exhibition. 

Examples include basket star, deep sea barnacle, bamboo coral and rabbit ratfish, are exhibited giving a rare glimpse of the diversity of life 500–2000 metres below the waves.
