Showcasing the best of food, farming and rural life, The Royal Highland Show returns this June to celebrate its 200th anniversary


It’s Scotland's biggest annual agricultural show. After a 2 year absence due to the pandemic, the much-loved Royal Highland Show makes a welcome return to at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston.

Over 4 days visitors can experience the best in the country – from livestock and machinery to live music and tasty food & drink.

Stalls, competitions, animal displays, workshops  - come along and soak up the family-friendly atmosphere of this renowned show.  

Highlights of the show include Scotland’s Larder Live which is a great opportunity to sample some top food and drink as well as the Scottish championships in various food categories.

The Grand Parade showcases the amazing prize winning cattle with so many different breeds in one place at the same time. The Forge is the home of the Scottish Open Horse-Shoeing and Shoe-making competitions.



Witness the hands on approaches from record breaking pole climbers at the Forestry Arena with their amazing strength and skill; pop along to the Sheep Shearing competition, where you'll see first hand the outstanding accuracy and speed of the shearers all hoping to win the intense contest; or take a seat in the Show Jumping Ring where you'll see the top class talent on display.

The necessary Covid measures will be in place from hand sanitising stations, mask wearing indoors and number limits in enclosed areas. The show is held within over a hundred acres of parkland which will enable people to move freely and have plenty of fresh air mitigating the risk of Covid.
