Step aboard The Royal Yacht Britannia and meet the Yotties, former Royal Yachtsmen on Her Majesty The Queen’s former floating palace.

The Yotties will be onboard from Mon 30 May - Thurs 2 June. Visit today and see the former Royal Yachtsmen don their white overalls once again and return to their beloved Britannia.

Working alongside the current maintenance team you’ll find them painting, scrubbing, sanding and polishing – only to be interrupted by their traditional daily tot of Pusser’s rum at 4pm!

The Yotties are delighted to chat to visitors, regaling stories about life on the Royal Yacht as it sailed over one million miles around the globe.

The Royal Yacht Britannia was home to Her Majesty The Queen and the Royal Family for over 40 years. Now permanently berthed in Leith, just two miles from the city centre of Edinburgh, visitors can follow in the footsteps of Royalty to discover the heart and soul of this most special of Royal residences.
