Edinburgh’s Hogmanay Competition

For over 30 years, Edinburgh’s Hogmanay has welcomed revellers from around the world to celebrate the New Year in the heart of Scotland’s capital city.

Honouring Hogmanay traditions, old and new, the world-famous celebrations bring Edinburgh into the New Year with a bang, and this year’s festivities look to be nothing short of spectacular. The four-day festival is packed with live music, spectacular fireworks, street party, traditional torchlight procession and more.

We’ve teamed up with Edinburgh’s Hogmanay to offer 5 lucky people the chance to celebrate the arrival of 2026 in style with a fantastic ticket giveaway.

 There’s 2 pairs of tickets up for grabs for the world-famous Edinburgh’s Hogmanay Street Party on 31 December 2025. Set against the iconic backdrop of Edinburgh Castle, join 45,000 revellers from across the globe to welcome 2026 with a spectacular night of live music, DJs, giant screens, international street theatre, pipers, drummers, funfair rides, and delicious street food and drink. A true carnival of light and sound, it promises an unforgettable start to the year ahead.

Available exclusively for residents with an EH postcode, we’re offering not one, but two exciting competitions. We’ve got 2 pairs of tickets for the Night Afore Concert on 30 December 2025. Folk-rock powerhouse headline act Peat & Diesel will be joined by accordion sensation RuMac for a 5,000 capacity celebration beneath the backdrop of Edinburgh Castle, drawing 2025 to an unforgettable close. We’ve also got 1 pair of tickets for Concert in the Gardens on 31 December 2025. See BRIT and Grammy award-winning sensations Wet Leg lead the Hogmanay celebrations, alongside Scottish favourites Hamish Hawk and Lucia & The Best Boys, all beneath the spectacular backdrop of Edinburgh Castle.

Terms and conditions

• Prize tickets for The Night Afore Concert on 30 December 2025 and Concert in the Gardens on 31 December 2025 are exclusively for residents with an EH postcode.
• All winners will be drawn at random.
• All entrants (and guests) must be aged 18+ years.
• This competition closes at midnight on Monday 24 November 2025.  
• All winners agree to RSVP within 48 hours of being notified, otherwise, their place will be allocated to the randomly drawn winner.
• All winners agree to their contact details (name, telephone number and email address) being passed to Edinburgh’s Hogmanay for the delivery of this competition.
• Any additional spend (travel, accommodation, food and drink etc) will be at the discretion and expense of the prize winners.
• The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
• The prize is not transferrable or refundable and cannot be sold. No cash alternative will be offered.
• A maximum of one entry per individual is permitted.
• A maximum of one prize/one pair of tickets per individual is permitted.
• The decision regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final, binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
