The Edinburgh International Harp Festival (EIHF) is the UK’s premier harping event. Established in 1982, it is the annual celebration and gathering of talent from across the global harp community and the flagship event of The Clarsach Society.

Running from 11 to 15 April 2025 at the city’s George Watson’s College, there are a variety of concerts, courses and workshops to choose from. For young harp players there are children’s workshops and concerts; the popular family ceilidh returns and the festival’s concerts will feature an eclectic mix of UK and international genres. Want to learn the clarsach? Why not book a course, available in beginners, post-beginners and elementary level. Workshops exploring in-depth techniques are also available.

The popular Harp Makers Exhibition returns this year, offering a fantastic opportunity to meet harp makers from across the UK. Music and harp-related accessories will also be available to purchase.
