Known for transforming forgotten and disused spaces in the city, this November, Hidden Door are throwing open the doors of The Paper Factory for a venue launch party.

A former paper and cardboard manufacturing facility in the Maybury Quarter on the western edge of Edinburgh, this massive area will be home to the multi arts festival in spring 2025. Featuring live music, visual art and performances, this November event will give audiences a preview of some of the extraordinary spaces within this former industrial site.

Singer-songwriter Jane Weaver will headline on Friday 22 November, having played at the festival’s King’s Stables Road location in 2016, while three-piece alt-rock phenomenon HotWax are set to entertain on the Saturday night. Alongside live music, guests will be able to see a diverse range of media and artforms including sculpture, performance, installation, painting, printmaking and large-scale works.

Located on Turnhouse Road, the venue is well served by a variety of public transport links, with frequent bus, tram and train services all stopping nearby.

Open to over 18s only, tickets for both 22 and 23 November 2024 should be book in advance on Hidden Door Launch Party.
