Welcome to the most gloriously ridiculous showdown in Leith – a Rock Paper Scissors tournament held in conjunction with Goose’s Quizzes. It’s fast. It’s fierce. It’s fuelled by spice bags and shameless bravado. Whether you’re a tactical genius or just there for the craic, this is your chance to claim glory with nothing but your hands and your wits.
Anyone over 18 is welcome to enter the tournament – no professional experience required. The winner will walk away with a £50 bar tab and eternal bragging rights.
The tournament involves the best of 3 in the regular rounds, 5 in the semis, and 7 in the finals.
There is a consolation round for those who are knocked out round 1 – 1st place wins a Spice Bag, because losing shouldn’t mean going hungry. You are guaranteed 2 games and plenty of laughs. It’s a great excuse to grab a pint with some pals.
