Based on Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Fairy Queen is an immersive operatic experience in a whimsical fairy kingdom. Featuring two human couples that get lost in the fairy-inhabited woods, they try to sort out where reality really is, how to get back to it, and, in turn, how to get back to the love they had before magic takes over.
Running nightly from 23 to 26 February 2026 at the Pleasance Theatre in Southside, tickets are priced from £15.50 to £19.00 per person. The theatre is wheelchair accessible and has disabled toilets.
