A planetarium experience with numerous galleries which take you back to the beginning of time. A 90-minute interactive walk-through offers a hands-on explanation of evolution from the big bang to the challenges of the present day.
Offering live ‘meet the astronomer’ events along with hands on workshops, there is educational fun to suit all ages.
You can touch a real iceberg, experience an earthquake, and feel what a tropical monsoon is like.
The café offers a range of dishes and a ‘Kids Menu’ to cater to all tastes allowing visitors to spend as long as they need to enjoy everything Dynamic Earth has to offer.
With wheelchair and pram access throughout and additional support for those with visual or hearing impairments, Dynamic Earth aims to be as inclusive a venue as possible.
On-site parking with Blue Badge spaces is available.
There is a step-free main entrance with a slight ramp which leads to manual doors. Once inside, access continues to be step-free with a lift accessing all floors. A wheelchair for visitor use is available by contacting the attraction prior to visiting.
On a Friday afternoon Dynamic Earth offers ‘relaxed’ opening hours with reduced noise, reduced visitor numbers, additional lighting, and seating in visitor areas.
