JA The Bruntsfield is rooted in one of Edinburgh’s most defining qualities: community. Beyond the skyline of the castle, the world-famous festivals and centuries of history, it’s the connections between family, friends and neighbours that truly shape the city, and that spirit is at the heart of our home.
Our boutique townhouse has welcomed guests since 1861, when it was the residence of William Craig, a respected doctor and botanist. Today, we proudly continue that tradition, opening our doors to new friends, familiar faces and curious travellers, and sharing local knowledge.
We invite you to slow down and settle in. At The Bruntsfield, we prescribe rest, relaxation and a little indulgence; best enjoyed in the convivial, civilised surroundings of Edinburgh.
