The events incorporate elements of Creative Arts - storytelling and singing, dance and movement, shadow theatre and filmmaking, arts and crafts, music and sound - everything to foster curiosity, imagination, creativity, and holistic development. Each program is driven by a story, which children delve into through all sorts of playful activities (games, painting, treasure hunt, needle felting, shadow theatre, choreography, and more). We might be dressing up using costumes and props, painting a six-meter-long scroll for a crankie theater, glass slides for magic lanterns, or cutting out shadow puppets for a new tale! On top of that Luna Moth offers an unplugged, low-tech screen education program focused on the pre-cinematic era of light&shadow using tools like camera obscura, old-fashioned overhead projectors, and antique Magic Lantern.
