We are Maki & Ramen, an independent chain of restaurants specialising in Japanese-inspired dishes, such as Tonkotsu Ramen (a rich and silky pork-based broth with homemade buckwheat noodles) and a selection of fresh sushi and delectable hot sides.
We first started in 2015, with a quaint establishment at 13 West Richmond Street that is still proudly operating today. Since then, we have currently expanded to five locations across Edinburgh so that more people can enjoy the Maki & Ramen menu.
Maki & Ramen was created to fill a significant gap in the Scottish Japanese dining scene. We wanted to provide high-quality, homemade ramen and sushi to the Scottish market so our guests can enjoy the best of both in a relaxed, friendly and contemporary setting. Today, we are proud to serve on average thirty thousand customers across all Maki & Ramen branches per month.
We are grateful to our team and patrons for keeping the love for Maki & Ramen going.
