The Four Sisters Boatels are a collection of 3, luxury, widebeam canal barges, located in the very heart of Edinburgh city centre, tucked away in Lochrin Basin on The Union Canal a short walk from some of Edinburgh’s top restaurants and bars. This makes them the ideal base for discovering all of the delights Edinburgh has to offer. The Four Sisters Boatels are purpose built, permanently moored, static, wide beam houseboats so don’t worry if you haven’t got your sea legs, there are no currents or tides, sea / canal sickness is not an issue.
The Four Sisters Boatel is our origional boat and is a massive 60 feet by 11 feet and 6 feet 4 inch in headroom, she can sleep up to 6 adults and 2 children under 10 years comfortably in 2 double cabins, a set of child sized bunk beds recessed in the hallway and also a double sofabed in the lounge.
The Camillia Boatel is our largest in the fleet. A massive 60 feet by 11 feet and 6 feet 10 inch in headroom she can sleep up to 8 adults in 2 double cabins, a fullsize bunk bed cabin and a double sofa bed in the lounge area.
The Wee Sisters Boatel is our newest addition tot he fleet and measures 60ft by 11ft and has 6 ft 4 inches in headroom and can sleep up to 6 adults in 2 double cabins and a sofa bed in the lounge.
The boats offer modern high tech spacious self- catering luxury accommodation and can be hired together accommodationg up to 20 adults.
We also welcome your pet dog FREE of charge by prior arrngement.
