Surf’s up for everyone

At the heart of Lost Shore it it’s revolutionary surf lagoon, delivering consistent, powerful waves all year round. Never tried surfing before? No problem – qualified instructors offer lessons for all ages and skill levels. For more experienced surfers, dynamic waves challenge your technique and keep the stoke alive – all without worrying about tides or cold ocean winds.
For those taking lessons, all the equipment you need to safely enjoy your time on the water is provided, including a wetsuit, boots, gloves, a hood and an appropriate surfboard. All you need to bring is your swimming costume and a towel.
Shop the surf lifestyle

Fancy owning your own piece of kit? Lost Shore’s Surf Shop is a must-visit for enthusiasts and casual visitors alike.
Located within the central hub building, the shop offers a curated selection of surf gear, apparel and accessories. From branded beanies and sunglasses to surfboards and wetsuits, it’s a great spot to pick up essentials and souvenirs.
Surfskating – all the fun, but on dry land

If you want to perfect your skills before taking the plunge, Surfskating is a great choice. Using a skateboard, it’s designed to help surfers hone their balance and technique on dry land, but it’s also seriously fun. Whether you’re working on carving turns or just cruising, it’s a great way to build skills and confidence.
The resort’s SurfSkate Academy offers sessions for all levels on an individual, group or public basis, with all equipment provided.
Relax and recharge

Surfing (and skateboarding) is exhilarating, but it’s also a full-body workout. When it’s time to wind down, there’s some relaxing choices to rechange body and mind.
Designed to encourage recovery after muscular exertion, relax in the Spear Sauna, which has a wood-fired sauna and waterfall buckets to cool down and feel invigorated. Or head to the wellness centre for a range of treatments designed to sooth sore muscles and calm the mind.
Food and drink – worldwide flavours, laid-back vibes

You don’t have to go far for great food either. Canteen, the resort’s waterfront bar, café and restaurant serves up everything from fresh, healthy bites, to indulgent comfort food – all with an emphasis on local Scottish ingredients. Whether you’re after a morning pick-me-up coffee, post-surf smoothie, or a hearty dinner, there’s something to satisfy every craving.
