Bruntsfield Links

Established in 1761, Bruntsfield Links Golfing Society remains one of the oldest and most prestigious golf clubs in the world. Located about six miles from central Edinburgh, it offers a beautiful parkland setting with views over the Firth of Forth. The course is a par-70, stretching 6,446 yards. The club has invested heavily in recent years, including significant upgrades like new bunkers and a water hole to enhance the course’s challenge and aesthetics.


Duddingston Golf Club

Located just east of Edinburgh, Duddingston Golf Club is renowned for its scenic parkland layout, which is set within a historic deer park and provides stunning backdrops, including Arthur’s Seat. Established in 1895, it offers a challenging yet enjoyable experience, with its undulating fairways and the Braid Burn running through the course, demanding precision from golfers of all levels.

The club has modern facilities, including a recently refurbished clubhouse, a golf simulator studio, and excellent dining options​.


Prestonfield Golf Club

Prestonfield Golf Club is a historic course located just 1.5 miles from Edinburgh’s city centre, nestled under Arthur’s Seat in scenic parkland. Designed by renowned architect James Braid, the 18-hole course stretches over 6,206 yards from the white tees with a par of 70. It offers a blend of beauty and challenge, with wind patterns often adding an extra element of difficulty.

Founded in 1920, the course was originally part of the former deer estate of Prestonfield House. Today, it remains a popular spot for both members and visitors, thanks to its accessibility and stunning backdrop. The course is open year-round and features gentle gradients, making it an enjoyable walk while still presenting opportunities to test golfers’ skills.


Merchants of Edinburgh

Offering a challenging “thinking golfer’s” course, The Merchants of Edinburgh Golf Club, in the Morningside area of Edinburgh, has a varied terrain, featuring twists, turns, and deceptive gradients. Established in 1907 and later redesigned in 1936, the course is known for its precision challenges, including its unique square greens.

Despite being shorter than modern courses, it remains a true test of skill. Players enjoy beautiful views stretching from the Pentland Hills to Edinburgh Castle.


Baberton Golf Club

An 18-hole course designed by the renowned James Braid, Baberton Golf Club features stunning views of the Pentland Hills, Forth Bridges and Edinburgh Castle.

Braid Hills Golf Centre

Braid Hills Golf Centre offers a state-of-the-art experience with 42 floodlit bays equipped with Trackman Range Technology. This facility allows golfers to track their shots in real-time, perfect for both practice and entertainment.

Additionally, there are short game areas, putting greens, and a coffee shop. The range is ideal for both serious golfers and beginners, with a focus on improving your game


Craigentinny Golf Course

Known for its range and golf course, Craigentinny Golf Course offers a family-friendly environment on the east side of the city. It provides ample space for beginners to improve their skills, with 9-hole and 18-hole options, while the driving range is ideal for a quick practice session.


Kings Acre Golf Course

Kings Acre Golf Course is a premier golf destination offering a top-notch driving range. It has 30 spacious floodlit bays, designed to provide real-life golfing scenarios.
