Founded over 30 years ago, Mellis Cheese has become synonymous with high-quality, artisanal farmhouse cheeses, working with single-herd producers and staying true to traditional methods. Their expertise and passion for cheese make this event a truly special opportunity for guests to learn from the very best.
As part of the evening’s activities, guests will be able to taste 6 specially selected cheeses and 3 paired wines, while Mellis’ expert cheesemongers offer insights into the rich flavours and unique combinations of cheese and wine.
There will also be the opportunity to purchase any featured cheeses to take home and enjoy.
For the perfect way to complete your evening, guests who wish to dine at 1802 Lounge & Grill either before or after the tasting will receive 20% off their bill upon presenting proof of ticket purchase.

1802 Lounge & Grill is located on Baxter’s Place at the top of Leith Walk. If travelling to the venue by public transport, Lothian Buses services 1, 5, 7, 14, 34, 49 all serve the area on a regular basis. Edinburgh Trams stop, Picardy Place is a short walk away.
