London-based singer, Clara Pople will be bringing her earthy and ethereal music that combines Celtic with trip/pop and soul to Edinburgh this March.
“My idea for a church tour came about through my love of performing in unusual settings,” says Clara. “For 3 years now, I have been hosting gigs on my houseboat in SE London, and I’ve learnt that a gig is about so much more than just the music. Church settings are always dramatic – and as a former school head chorister, I miss singing in those sacred spaces. Ritualism, spiritual intensity, the hottest acoustics in any town – what’s not to love?”
St Vincent’s Chapel is located in the Stockbridge area of Edinburgh.
