With a variety of activities for all to enjoy, Easy Sundays create a warm and welcoming space for everyone.
Upcoming sessions include:
- Easy Sundays: Sea Story Quilting (08 November). Storyteller Beth Cross provides a quiet informal space for stitching into life children’s drawings of stories imprinted on a quilt. Come for the chat and stories, add some stitches, no experience or prior skill required. Free, just drop-in.
- Easy Sundays: Folk Foundations (29 November). Join Rachel Beattie, singer and fiddle player, to learn some new folk tunes and songs. Please note this session is designed for those who have some experience playing an instrument and are looking to develop their skills and confidence. Free and non-ticketed.
- Easy Sundays: Following the Golden Thread of Stories (29 November). Tales from Beth Cross’s Story Quilts come alive. Choose the story you want to hear, be it dragons, brave adventurers, sea monsters or a cheeky monkey, then draw your own story images for the next generation of story quilt magic. Chargeable, with pre-booking required.
The Scottish Storytelling Centre has level access to all spaces, is wheelchair friendly, and has accessible toilets. The ground floor accessible toilet has baby changing facilities. Assistance dogs are welcome.
