Whether you’ve never spoken a word of Gaeilge, or fancy learning something new just for the craic, come along to Malones Leith for a relaxed, welcoming Irish language class.
Hosted by Edinburgh Comhaltas, each session will focus on different topics and phrases, while still being perfectly beginner-friendly. You can therefore come to every session, or join classes sporadically as you’re able to. Each session is around 45 minutes.
Edinburgh Comhaltas is an inclusive community working to promote Irish traditional music, song and dance as well as the Irish language in Edinburgh. They are open to all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
Open to over 18s, Irish Language Classes take place on 25 October and 29 November 2026, with admittance on a pay what you can basis. Advance booking is required.
