This evening event explores the connections between music, architecture and nature at the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) Headquarters in Edinburgh.
Edinburgh-based musician Stephen Morrison is a lifelong admirer of the American architect Frank Lloyd Wright, and brings a personal connection to one of modern architecture’s most celebrated landmarks: Fallingwater, Wright’s extraordinary house built over a waterfall in Pennsylvania. As Fallingwater marks its 90th anniversary in 2026, Stephen has recently returned to Edinburgh after playing in recitals at this iconic building as part of celebrations honouring its legacy as a masterpiece of modern architecture and a powerful expression of art and nature in harmony.
RIAS HQ is located on Rutland Square. Please note, there are steps at the front and back of the building, so it is not accessible to everyone.
Doors open 6.30pm for mulled wine and festive nibbles. The event starts at 7pm. Further details and booking information can be found on BookshopLATE: Musical Portrait of Architect Frank Lloyd Wright.
