Suitable for all fun-loving people, including first-timers, Laldie Ceilidhs isn’t about perfection; it’s about having fun trying. All ages and all abilities are welcome.
Participants are walked through the dances and there are always experienced dancers to follow. Whether you come along in a group, with a partner, on your own, there are plenty of opportunities to meet and dance with other people. Plus, beginners can join early for a free half hour class in ceilidh dance basics.

Both events take place at Assembly Roxy on Roxburgh Place, just off South Bridge. The venue has ramp access from ground level and an accessible toilet. Several of Lothian Buses routes serve the area on a regular basis, including the 8, 14, 27 and 37.
