Leith

23rd April - 26th April
£6.00 to £10.00 per person

Running from 23 to 26 April 2026, Fiends in the Furrows is a collaboration between film events and networking organisation Cinetopia and Leith Kino – a popular weekly film club.

Featuring a mix of pop-up outdoor and indoor screenings and events, the 4-day festival will feature 14 film screenings at venues across Leith, including South Leith Parish Church Halls and Leith Depot, the home of Leith Kino. Events include an open-air showing of the 1973 Scottish folk horror classic The Wicker Man, and a gala presentation of Ken Russell’s 1988 gothic farce The Lair of the White Worm. The closing screening will be Mark Jenkin’s Rose of Nevada – a brand-new sci fi drama set in Cornwall.

There will also be a family-friendly outdoor screening of animated animal drama Watership Down (PG).

All venues have level, step-free access to screening spaces. Accessible toilet facilities are available at South Leith Parish Church Hall, Leith Depot, and Dock Place/Custom Lane. Please note Leith Dockers Club does not have an accessible toilet. All films will be subtitled in English to assist D/deaf and hard of hearing film audiences.

Tickets will be on a sliding scale from £6.00 to £10.00 per person, with a limited number of full festival passes available.
