Running every day (except Sundays) during the summer holidays, Crafternoons offers young artists the chance to unleash their creative side.

Offering a range of activities for all ages, these free drop-in sessions vary from 15 to 45 minutes, based on the activity.

Each day’s session will be themed:

  • Mondays – Parliament papers

  • Wednesdays – Sun catchers
  • Thursdays – Make a mace
  • Fridays – Origami
  • Saturdays – Paper puppets

No need to book, just walk in and join the sessions taking place between 2pm and 4.30pm, Monday to Saturday during recess.

The Scottish Parliament is located at the foot of the Royal Mile, opposite the Palace of Holyroodhouse. Lothian Buses service 35 stops outside the building.
