This immersive event consists of festive open mic, encounters with a selection of eccentric bunker-dwelling characters, post-apocalyptic snacks and a junkyard decoration-making workshop. Plus, they’ll be a daring torchlit adventure into the depths of the bunker.

The venue, Barnton Bunker, is a restored Cold War era nuclear bunker which extends three floors down into the earth. You’ll have the opportunity to see some of its features throughout the evening, including the old RAF control room and a subterranean recording studio.

The bunker is reached by a walk over uneven ground, and there are steps and uneven surfaces throughout. Sensible shoes and warm clothes (as it may be cold) are recommended. If you have any questions about accessibility, please contact the International Ghost Society via email: hello@ghostsociety.co.uk.

If travelling to the venue by car, there is a car park outside the bunker complex, and free on-street parking nearby. Lothian Buses services 1, 17, 21, 26 and 68 all stop close by.

The minimum age for this event is 16 years. Parents must accompany children at all times.
