A new play by Robbie Gordon and Jack Nurse, Same Team – A Street Soccer Story makes its world premiere at the Traverse theatre this December.
Five women have come together with one goal and one dream. Coming from very different backgrounds in life, they have to work together as a team if they want to do what no one from Scotland has ever done before – win the Homeless World Cup and bring the trophy home.
Written with the Dundee Women’s Street Soccer Team, Same Team – A Street Soccer Story is an uplifting whirlwind through the highs and lows of homeless football.
Please note, this show is suitable for those aged 14 years+. It contains strong language, references to drug use, depression, anxiety, homelessness and distressing themes.
A captioned performance takes place on 15 December and a BSL interpreted performance on 16 December. View further details and book tickets on Same Team – A Street Soccer Story.
