The joyous Broadway and UK smash hit musical arrives in Edinburgh’s Festival Theatre this October.
Telling the story of lounge singer, Deloris who is forced to hide from the mob in a convent after she witnesses a murder, this fun, family-friendly show will leave you uplifted.
The 7-day run features TV and stage legend Lesley Joseph (Birds of a Feather), Lizzie Bea (Hairspray) and West End star Landi Oshinowo as Deloris. All accompanied by original music by Tony® and 8-time Oscar® award-winner Alan Menken (Disney’s Aladdin) and songs inspired by Motown, soul and disco.
A captioned performance takes places on Thursday 05 October. The matinee performance on Saturday 07 October features an additional audio track for audiences with sight loss and a British Sign Language dialogue. A touch tour, which provides audiences with sight loss the opportunity to handle props and costumes prior to the show is also running on Saturday. Tickets for all performances should be purchased in advance online at Capital Theatres.
