Held in the inspiring setting of St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral, St Mary’s Music School is joined by the Choirs of St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral, for a presentation of Duruflé Requiem op.9.
The Cathedral Choir, Benedicite Cathedral Youth Choir and Cathedral Choristers come together, with guest soloists Katherine Aitken (mezzo-soprano) and Paul Grant (baritone).
The programme will also include the Scottish premiere of Saint-Saëns’ Super Flumina Babylonis, performed by mezzo-soprano, accompanied by strings, organ, saxophone quartet and chorus.
St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral is on Palmerston Place at the West End. Several Lothian Buses routes serve the area. The nearest Edinburgh Trams stop is the West End.
