Cinderella

A woman dancing on stage, in a ballet pose.

As her cruel stepfamily readies for the Royal Ball, Cinderella can only dream – until a magical fairy grants her a night to remember. The dazzling tale of magic and romance that is Varna International Ballet – Cinderella takes place on 19 February 2026.

Swan Lake

2 dancers on stage, female wears a white tutu and is being supported by male partner as she reaches one arm into the air.

Experience Tchaikovsky’s haunting and unforgettable score in the romantic ballet, Varna International Ballet – Swan Lake. From the impressive splendour of the Palace ballroom to the moon-lit lake where swans glide in perfect formation, this is a beautiful performance not to be missed. Catch it on 20 February 2026.

The Nutcracker

As midnight strikes on Christmas Eve, get swept away to a fairy-tale world where nothing is quite as it seems. Toy dolls spring to life, the Mouse-king and his mouse-army battle with the Nutcracker Prince and travel through the Land of Snow to an enchanted place where the magic really begins. See Varna International Ballet – The Nutcracker on 21 February 2026.

If travelling to the theatre by public transport, Lothian Buses services 1, 5, 7, 14, 34, 49 all serve the area on a regular basis. Edinburgh Trams stop, Picardy Place is a short walk away.
