Day one – arrival and evening in Edinburgh 

15:00 – arrive at The Caledonian Edinburgh

16:00 – The Journey of Flavour Experience at Johnnie Walker Princes Street

Located directly across the road from your hotel, you will celebrate the artistry of whisky-making at Johnnie Walker’s flagship and award-winning venue. The Journey of Flavour combines interactive storytelling, live performances, and three perfectly tailored cocktails, making it a must-visit for enthusiasts and curious visitors alike.

19:30 – dinner at The Caledonian Edinburgh – The Court

Dine in luxury at The Court, where the flavours of Edinburgh’s cobbled streets and rich history inspire every bite. The Court’s ambiance is enhanced by live music, featuring jazz and piano performances that contribute to its lively yet sophisticated atmosphere.

21:00 – drinks at Angel’s Share

Day two – explore and indulge 

10:30 – free time and hop on, hop off bus tour

Uncover the city’s secrets and highlights at your own pace with a City Sightseeing tour. Your Grand 24 tickets provide flexible access to Edinburgh’s historic landmarks, bustling neighbourhoods, and breathtaking vistas. See Edinburgh’s Old and New Town and beyond, discovering the secrets of the city. 

14:30 – visit to Royal Yacht Britannia and lunch in the tearoom 

Step aboard the Royal Yacht Britannia, a floating palace that once served as the Queen’s residence at sea. Explore the yacht’s elegant rooms, including the State Apartments and the Royal Deck Tea Room, while discovering fascinating stories of royal life on the water. You’ll be treated to tea and scones in the tearoom.

17:30 – dinner, drinks, and tour at Port of Leith Distillery

Discover a new wave of whisky innovation at the UK’s first vertical distillery. Located in the vibrant district of Leith at Whisky Quay, this experience includes expertly crafted cocktails, delectable small plates, and spectacular views of Edinburgh and the waterfront.

Day three – relax and unwind 

10:30 – visit the Palace of Holyroodhouse

Immerse yourself in history at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the official residence of the British monarch in Scotland. Wander through the State Apartments, learn about the fascinating events that unfolded here, and take in the beauty of the palace gardens.

12:00 – shop at Royal Mile Whiskies

Take a piece of Edinburgh home with you. Visit Royal Mile Whiskies to browse a curated selection of local whiskies and gifts, perfect for sharing the magic of Scotland with friends and family.

13:30 – travel home

Depart with unforgettable memories of Edinburgh’s charm, creativity, and hospitality.

Terms and conditions 

1. Eligibility 
   * This competition is open to individuals aged 25 years or older at the time of entry. 
   * Entrants must be legal residents of the UK. Proof of age and residency may be required to claim the prize. 
   * The competition closes on 25 February 2025. Entries after that date will not be included.  
2. Prize details
   * The prize includes a three-day luxury trip to Edinburgh for two people as described in the promotional material. 
   * The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be provided. 
3. Booking and redemption
   * The prize is valid for redemption for one year, from 01 January 2025, to 31 December 2025. 
   * Blackout dates apply, including but not limited to UK bank holidays, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Christmas, and Hogmanay. 
   * Prize redemption is subject to availability and must be booked at least 30 days in advance. 
4. Expenses
   * The prize does not include any additional personal costs incurred during the trip (e.g., meals outside of the itinerary, additional activities, gratuities). 
5. Entry
   * Only one entry per person is allowed. Duplicate entries will be disqualified. 
   * By entering the competition, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. 
6. Winner selection and notifications
   * The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries. 
   * The winner will be notified via the contact information provided during entry. If the winner does not respond within 7 days of notification, the prize will be forfeited, and another winner will be selected. 
7. Publicity
   The winner agrees to participate in reasonable publicity related to the competition, including the use of their name and images for promotional purposes. 
8. General
   * The promoter reserves the right to amend or withdraw the competition at any time without notice in the event of circumstances outside their control. 
   * The promoter’s decision on any aspect of the competition is final and binding. 
9. Liability
   * The promoter is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the competition or acceptance of the prize. 
   * Travel insurance is not included in the prize and is the responsibility of the winner. 
10. Promoter information
    * This competition is run by Forever Edinburgh, whose decision regarding any aspect of the competition shall be final.
