Originally a wine merchant’s bonded warehouse, The Vaults in Leith is today the spiritual home of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. Both traditional and eclectic in its appearance, it’s here that guests can enjoy a magnificent selection of single cask whisky and spirits, alongside a flavour-focused, seasonal menu.

• Whisky Wednesdays: Burgers & Drams takes place every Wednesday at The Vaults from 20 August until 24 September 2025.
• If there are six or more people joining on the night, the experience will include a guided tasting led by one of the venue’s whisky experts. For smaller groups, you’ll still receive a warm introduction to the drams and enjoy the full flight and burger – ideal for a more laid-back midweek moment.
