About
Edinburgh's Swanston Farm dates back to around AD1214 and nestles at the base of the Pentland Hills Regional Park, 6 miles from Edinburgh City Centre. A 25-40 minute bus ride from Princes Street & Edinburgh Castle, it includes 6 beautiful self-catering holiday cottages, a Brasserie & business lets. Swanston Farm is not a petting farm (we do not have animals in visitor-attraction-style pens). We keep a small group of Highland Cows in an enclose field 5 minute's walk from our Brasserie. Follow our orange Highland Cow signs. Feeding & petting our animals is strictly not permitted. There is no charge to visit Swanston Farm & no need to book, however if you'd like food & drink during your visit, tables must be pre-booked 48hrs in advance.
