Civerinos Local Legends Pizzas

This month, we’re delighted to partner with beloved local pizzeria, Civerinos to bring residents an exclusive taste of the capital. In celebration of National Pizza Day on Monday 09 February 2026, Civerinos is launching “Local Legends: The Scotch Capital”, a pair of limited‑edition pizzas, featuring ingredients from local producers and inspired by Edinburgh’s vibrant food culture.

Civerinos has been part of Edinburgh’s food scene since 2014, bringing East Coast American pizza styles to the capital with a focus on quality ingredients, community spirit and a relaxed neighbourhood atmosphere. From foldable New York slices to thin blistered New Haven pizzas and larger pies meant for sharing, each location serves up quality pizza with passion and character, making it a firm favourite across the city. This month, the team are also launching a brand-new menu, continuing to celebrate bold flavours and local produce across all locations.

Meet the “Local Legends” pizzas

• The Scotch Capital: a marinara base topped with mozzarella from Yester Farm in Haddington, rosemary roasted potato, seasoned sausage meat from Campbells Prime Meat (pork sourced from Ayrshire), scotch bonnet chillies, parmesan, and finished with a drizzle of whisky-infused Scottish heather honey made with Woven Whisky in Leith. A perfect balance of spicy, savoury and sweet, showcasing the best of Edinburgh’s local suppliers.
• The Scotch Capital Vegetarian: a sweet potato base topped with crispy kale, sea salt and truffle whipped ricotta, celebrating ingredients long associated with Scottish cooking. Rich, earthy and creamy, this pizza highlights seasonal local produce in every bite.
