Maid of the Forth Legend of the Month for July 2026

30% discount on all standard scheduled cruises.

Family owned and operated Maid of the Forth offer a variety of award-winning sightseeing cruises on the Firth of Forth.

Running from Easter to October, and departing from Hawes Pier in South Queensferry, cruise under the Forth Bridges and enjoy breathtaking views of Edinburgh and Fife from the panoramic top deck. Listen to a full commentary on the area’s rich history and wildlife, and look out for seals and a wide range of seabirds, including the ever-popular puffins.

Throughout July, residents with an EH postcode can enjoy 30% discount on all of Maid of the Forth’s *standard scheduled cruises.

• This reward is only valid for residents with an EH postcode. Contact and address details will be required when booking and on arrival (photo ID or utility bill with an EH postcode).
• Throughout July, residents with an EH postcode can enjoy 30% discount on all of Maid of the Forth’s *standard scheduled cruises.

• This reward is valid between 01 and 31 July 2026.
• *Standard cruises include the following:
  3 Bridges Sightseeing Tour 1.5 hrs
  Inchcolm Island Landing Trip 3 hrs
  High speed Seafari Adventure (1 hr)
  Jazz Cruise
  Folk Music Cruise
  Explore Engineering Cruise
• Children are not permitted on the Folk Music Cruise or Jazz Cruise.
• The RIB cruise (High speed Seafari Adventure) is suitable for those aged 8+ years old.
• Discount applies to ferry fares only and does not apply to Inchcolm Island landing fees, catering, or other third-party charges.
• Advance booking is required.
• All bookings are subject to availability.
• This reward cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
• Unfortunately, wheelchairs cannot be taken up the ramp onto the boat. Staff will be on hand to assist passengers that can negotiate the short ramp with handrails. Folding wheelchairs and walkers may be taken down the pier and onto the boat. Potential passengers are welcome to come and view the vessel when it is docked at the pier if unsure if the access would be suitable. Alternatively, please call the Maid of the Forth team on 0131 331 5000 for guidance.
