Gin Jolly samples

Summerhall Distillery free tour

Home of Pickering’s Gin and The Broody Hen Scotch Whisky, Summerhall Distillery in Edinburgh’s Southside offers an enchanting gin tasting and storytelling experience for those eager to find out how their handcrafted gin is made.

Gin Jolly free tour

Available for Edinburgh residents with an EH postcode, enjoy their Gin Jolly tour for free on the last Saturday of the month at 12pm in 2024 (July and August are excluded).

Enjoy a perfectly poured Pickering’s G&T upon arrival at The Royal Dick Pub, followed by a tasting of 4 samples of their award-winning gins.

Your tour will begin in the Old Workshop where you can marvel at all of their whacky inventions, hear the success story of Pickering’s Gin, and the history of their Indian recipe written down in 1947. You will then be taken to their working distillery to see and learn how they make their delicious small batch gin. The Pickering’s Gin Jolly Tour will conclude with a guided tasting of four neat samples of their core range gins.

Bookings should be made on the Summerhall Distillery website using code EHReward100 at the last stage of the booking process.
