Pickering’s Gin is handcrafted at Summerhall Distillery, nestled within the old Royal (Dick) Veterinary School by Edinburgh’s Meadows. Born and bottled in the heart of the city, Pickering’s is proudly independent. The result of local passion, creativity, and a good dose of Edinburgh spirit, every batch is made on site in their small but mighty distillery, where tradition meets innovation.
Since opening in 2013, they’ve stayed true to their roots: producing consistently smooth, balanced gins using their original 1947 recipe and carefully refined modern variations. Their team of distillers and makers handle every step, from distillation to bottling, ensuring genuine craft at every stage.

Available exclusively for residents with an EH postcode, we are offering 5 pairs of tickets for the Christmas Bauble Cocktail Workshop on 26 November 2025. Guests will explore the distillery, discover how Pickering’s Gin is crafted, and then settle into the cosy tasting room to create three cocktails. Sip two during the session and use the third to fill three Christmas baubles — perfect for hanging on your tree and spreading a little gin-filled cheer this holiday season.

- This reward is only valid for residents with a EH postcode. Contact and address details will be required when booking and on arrival (photo ID or utility bill with an EH postcode).
- The Christmas Bauble Cocktail Workshop takes place at 6pm on Wednesday 26 November 2025.
- All entrants (and guests) must be aged 18+ years.
- Winners agree to RSVP within 48 hours of being notified, otherwise, their place will be allocated to the randomly drawn winner.
- All winners agree to their contact details (name, telephone number and email address) being passed to Pickering’s Gin for the delivery of this competition.
- This competition closes at midnight on Sunday 16 November 2025.
- A maximum of one entry per individual is permitted.
- Any additional spend (travel, food and drink etc) will be at the discretion and expense of the prize winners.
- This prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. It is non-transferable and non- refundable and cannot be sold. No cash alternative will be offered.
