Running outdoor climbing experiences in Edinburgh, Height Club’s sessions are suitable for children (9 years+), adults and groups. No previous climbing experience is required, and they’re great for indoor climbers who want to try the outdoors version.

The session will take place at Blackford Quarry, or by agreement, another venue, with all safety equipment supplied. Participants will be taken through a series of activities, all of which are designed to build confidence, support and challenge. And with plenty of opportunities for photos, filming, tea-drinking and snack breaks, it’s a fun activity in the outdoors.

Resident Rate

When two or more people book a climbing session of more than £100.00, Height Club will take 10% off the total bill. This reward is only valid for residents with an EH postcode.

Bookings can be either made by emailing Height Club on heightclubbookings@gmail.com, by calling 07751 631066, by messaging on Facebook or on Instagram. In all instances, code EHRewards must be quoted.

This reward is only valid for residents with an EH postcode. Contact and address details will be required when booking and on arrival (photo ID or utility bill with an EH postcode).

This reward and associated promo code are valid on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays until 30 December 2025. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays are excluded. The period 08 to 27 August 2025 is also excluded.

Any participants aged 18 years or younger must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Adults may take part or observe.
All participants must complete consent forms.
Height Club reserve the right to cancel or cut short sessions if necessary for safety reasons. In which case, no refund will be available.
As this activity takes place outside, all participants are advised to dress warmly and bring hot drinks, snacks, sunscreen and water. Please note, there are no public toilets in the climbing areas.
In the case of Height Club cancelling the event due to bad weather, an alternative date will be offered. They may also offer an indoor climbing session at a nearby centre (some additional charges may apply).
This reward cannot be used in conjunction with other offers or discounts.
