Holyrood Distillery is situated in the city’s Southside district – under the shadow of the magnificent Salisbury Crags, and a short walk from the historic Old Town. Taking inspiration from their surroundings, and from Edinburgh’s brewing and distilling heritage, they produce the city’s only single malt whisky and an award-winning range of gin.

Whether you’re visiting a distillery for the first time, want to learn something new about modern whisky production, or simply try some of their delicious spirits – come and discover how they make their spirits with a range of tours and tastings, with experiences available for all levels of knowledge and interest.

The distillery has lift access to all tour areas. Seating is provided throughout the tour route, there is also an on-site wheelchair available for anyone requiring it during their visit. The service counter in the Visitor Centre shop (check-in desk) is an accessible height for wheelchair users. Fully accessible washroom facilities are available.

Written translation of the tours are available in English, French, German, Spanish and simplified Mandarin.

• This reward is only valid for residents with an EH postcode. Contact and address details will be required when booking and on arrival (photo ID or utility bill with an EH postcode).
• Bookings for 50% discount on tour tickets booked during November 2024 should be made on Holyrood Distillery’s website using code EHREWARD in the promo code box.
• This reward and associated promo code are valid for tickets purchased and tours taking place between 01 to 30 November 2024 inclusive.
• This promotion is applicable for the following experiences: Holyrood Distillery Tour, Journey to Whisky Tour and Holyrood Gin Tasting Experience.
• The Journey to Whisky Tour and Gin Tasting Experience are strictly for those over 18 years.
• For the Holyrood Distillery Tour, the promotion is only applied to Adult and Child ticket types.
• Should visitors need to cancel and rebook their experience after 30 November 2024, the discount will not be applied to new tickets and will require guests to pay the difference.
